Last night I got to hold my precious baby! He is so strong and such a fighter for all he's been through in such a short time. Thank you for all the beautiful flowers, gifts and notes of kindness. So many people have complimented us on how wonderful our room smells - like a flower garden when you walk in!
I appologize for not being able regurn all the phone calls, but they are much appreciated. I can't wait to get home, so you can all come and visit with Clayton!
Going into this, and as great as I felt the whole time, it was such a suprise to not be able to go home after the normal 2 days. Everyone here, especially Neal has taken great care of me.
I'll try to write back again when I'm not feeling so exhausted.

It was so great to spend the afternoon with you the other day! Just between Thursday & Friday you seemed so much stronger and more "with it!" I was so impressed watching your blood be drawn & you didn't pass out! You have become quite the trooper! Maybe God wanted you in the hospital a little longer so you wouldn't be so "scared" of them anymore! You have a great team of Doctor's & nurses at your request - take advantage of it! And secondly you have an amazing husband who loves you more than anything! He is so proud of you & it shows! And finally we can't forget that sweet baby boy - even though you haven't had tons of time together since the delivery, he knows you - he knows your voice, your smell, your touch! He loves you and can't wait to spend the rest of his life with his mommy and daddy!

Nolan can't wait to meet his new best friend and start playing!! Bernie is hoping that the rain will hold off so he can go play with Peyton tomorrow!! Nolan is already envious of all of Calyton's hair! He is just working the mullet in the back. I really can't wait to take the boys to the pool this summer and dip those cute toes in the water!!
